Learn how to use settings to customise the plugin

JetBrains IDEs offer a robust settings API enabling you to customise every aspect of the colour scheme directly from within the settings menu.

Plugin settings

Vira Theme provides integrated settings to personalise the look and feel according to your preferences.

To access the Vira Theme settings, open the Settings panel and navigate to the Appearance & Behaviour > Vira Theme section. This is where you can customise the plugin’s settings.

Code colors override

Each JetBrains IDE has a dedicated section in the Settings panel for overriding code highlighting colours.

Open the Settings panel, and navigate to Editor > Color Scheme > General. Here you will find all the colors used to highlight the code. Every section under the Color Scheme contains the relative color keys you can override.

When you override a colour the IDE creates a local copy of the original colour scheme.  This means you’ll need to manually select it from the dropdown menu to revert to the original.
